My Prescription
Your Prescription Information
We can only sell you the contact lenses that were prescribed by your ECP, and that you are currently successfully wearing. Please copy the parameters from your prescription form or an old box of contacts into the order form. If you are not sure, just check the "I do not know my prescription" box on the product page, and we will contact your doctor to find it out. Once we confirm your prescription, your order will be ready to ship! Please note that most prescriptions are valid for 12-24 months, unless otherwise directed by your doctor or the regulations of your state of residence.
How We Verify Contact Lens Prescriptions
In order to purchase lenses online, you must have a valid prescription. If you send us your prescription, your order will be processed faster. You may fax your prescription to us at +1-877-233-8041, or e-mail the scanned copy to info@webeyestore.com. Please include your Order # or Customer ID on your fax or email. Otherwise, we will contact your eye care provider and confirm your prescription for you. Please enter your prescriber's contact information at checkout, or email it to us at info@webeyestore.com.
Changing Your Contact Lens Prescription
Your eye care provider has examined your eyes to determine which contact lenses fit you best. By law, we can only sell you the contacts of the brand and prescription issued by your doctor. Any changes have to be approved by your doctor. Once your doctor approves the desired change, we will be happy to send your lenses to you.
Order Cancellations Due To Prescription Issues
We strive to validate and ship every customer order as fast as we can! Unfortunately, sometimes your prescription cannot be verified with your eye care practitioner (ECP) because:

*Your ECP's office could not be reached using the contact information you provided,
*Your ECP has informed us that your prescription is not valid, or is substantially different from what you ordered, or
*Your ECP's office does not have your prescription on file.

When this happens, we send you a notice, informing you of the situation and asking for your instructions. If we do not hear from you afterwards, we are going to cancel your order and issue you a full refund. However, once you provide a valid prescription, we will be happy to help you reinstate or resubmit your order!
Ordering "Zero-Power" Contact Lenses
According to Federal regulations, even no-strength (also known as "zero-power" or "plano") contact lenses are considered prescription medical devices. Therefore, you need a valid prescription to order even a zero-power lens. The price for zero-power lenses is generally the same as for the prescription lenses of the same brand and type.
OU vs. OD,OS Parameters
When prescription specifies OU instead of OD (for right eye) and OS (for left eye), it means that both eyes' prescription parameters are the same.
OD,OS Parameters Not Specified
If your prescription does not specify which is right eye (OD) and which is left (OS), it may just be showing two rows of numbers, one above the other. In this case, the top row usually represents right eye (OD), and the bottom - left eye (OS).
Power Parameter On Your Prescription
Power is a number from -20.00 to +20.00 following the words "Power" or "Sph" on your prescription form. Please be careful selecting the right "+" or "-" sign for the Power parameter. If you are near-sighted, you are probably wearing the "-" sign lenses.  If you are far-sighted, your are wearing the "+" sign lenses.  If your prescription was written as a string of numbers (e.g., "-3.00 -1.75 @ 180" for toric lenses, or "-2.00,high" for multi-focal), the first number in the string would usually represent the Power.
Is Power The Same As Sphere?
The POWER parameter on our product order form is the same as the SPH or SPHERE parameters shown on some contact lens packages and,or prescription forms.
Base Curve Parameter On Your Prescription
Base Curve is a number from 7.0 to 10.0 following the words "Base Curve" or "BC" on your prescription form. Sometimes, Base Curve parameter follows the name of the brand of contacts (e.g., "Acuvue Advance 8.3" or "Acuvue Advance 8.3,14.0").
Diameter Parameter On Your Prescription Form
Diameter is a number from 13.0 to 15.0 following the words "Diameter" or "Dia" on your prescription form. Sometimes, Diameter follows the name of the brand of contacts and the base curve(e.g., "Acuvue Advance 8.3,14.0").
Cylinder Parameter On Your Prescription
For toric (for astigmatism) contacts, cylinder is a number from 0.00 to +,-10.00 following the words "Cylinder" or "Cyl" on your prescription form. If your prescription is written as a string of numbers (e.g., "-3.00, -1.75 @ 180"), the second number in the string usually represents the Cylinder. Some doctors enter cylinder with the "-" sign, and some without, but in both cases they designate the same exact lens (e.g., Cylinder -2.25 and Cylinder 2.25 are the same).
Axis Parameter On Your Prescription
On toric (for astigmatism) contact lens prescriptions, Axis is a number from 0 to 180 that may follow the word "Axis" or the symbol "@" or "X". Please note that some doctors prefer to write Axis as a 3-digit number, adding a zero at the beginning (i.e., "90" = "090", and "5" = "005").
D,N Parameter In Multifocal Lens Prescriptions
The "D" and "N" letters are specified in multifocal contact lens prescriptions. Your Eye Care Practitioner typically determines the eye dominance at the time of lens fitting and indicates your dominant eye as "D" and non-dominant eye as "N".
